Zone Leader...

So Transfers!

Crazy things are going down.  There were seven zones, but due to a loss of missionaries in the mission they are down sizing to 5 zones, mix-matching and making new ones.  President asked if Elder Hawks and I would be the zone leaders over one of the new zones they are creating.  it will be a fun new experience.  New area is Fuquay-Varina, Tri-Lake Zone!  More information next week!

Zoo in Sanford...

Hey Mom,

So it works out, we changed our p-day today.  There was a zoo in Sanford that we wanted to to to as a district, but it isn't opened on Monday so we got permission to change our p-day to today wo we could go.  We just got back and it's a nice little zoo, nothing spectacular, but it was fun to of and see.  They had a giraffe you could feed.  I put a carrot in my mouth and the giraffe ate it our of my mouth.  It was fun.  And, for my birthday, haha, I don't know if its too late for requests or anything, but there is a board game called King of Tokyo that I played out here on a p-day and it's super fun, it would be a good p-day activity.  This week was good, Derek and Scott came to Church.  Transfers are coming up this week, we get the news on Saturday.  I'm 90% sure I'm leaving, but we will see!

Love ya mom, thanks for all you do!

Miracle this week...

Hey Mom,

We have to go to Fayetteville today so I don't have a lot of time, again pics today, sorry.  Derricks baptism didn't go through , I will keep you posted on how he's doing.  But we did have a miracle this week.  There was someone that Elder Qaio and I contacted two months ago, it was just your usual door contact.  We invited her to church and gave her a card but she wasn't interested in speaking to us, but she randomly showed up at church yesterday and wants to learn more.  The never happens, but we are so grateful it did!

Love Y'all!

Church computer virus...

Hey so no pictures today, the library is closed and there is a virus on the church computer which will destroy all cameras, no joke.  Many learned the hard way.  So the baptism may be pushed back, we will find out later today, hopefully it will go through.  Elder Arveseth and i get along, he's different from me but we get along together.

Stake Conference this week...

Oh well, no pictures today.  We haven't gotten the charger yet, sorry.  We had stake conference this week in Fayetteville which was great, but since it's so far away nobody was able to come to church.  Derek will be getting baptized on June 3rd, so that is exciting, we will just need to keep working with his brothers and everything.  One thing that has been frustrating though is the ward isn't receiving them as well as they should, and the ward counsel never meets so it's been difficult to properly address the situation.  Our other investigators are doing good as well.  Richard is on date for baptism on the 17th and Tracy is continuing to progress as well.  I don't know what type of calling I will receive in the future, but thanks to many of the good (and bad) examples) I have seen I know how I would want to go about doing them.  And that made me chuckle when you told me it took an army to keep Grandma Shields down!  Glad to hear things are going well and that is a bummer about Matt's foot.  How long will he be wearing the boot?

Love Y'all and hope things go well!
