Things you learn in primary...

Hey!

Luckily kids are more durable than they seem, haha.  The parents here must whoop their kids, we were at a member dinner and I asked one of the kids what he learned in primary and he said, "I learned our parents don't whoop us for no reason." Haha, that was funny!

With my mission, we find a descent amount of people, but it's real tough to get anyone to progress, so I will keep you posted on those as they progress.  I miss all of you as well, to be honest, I've missed home more this past month than any other time on my mission.  I love y'all!

Love,

Transfer News...

Transfer news!?
So I will be staying and Elder Tyler will be leaving.

Do you know anything about your new comp?
Elder Bush is a missionary that I came out with, and i will be grooming him to be a District Leader here.

Investigator/Finding update:
We found Anthony the cigarette guy, and another college kid.  Most people dropped us this week, good ole anti info from preachers is a doozy.

Funny Story:
We taught a man who rolled cigarettes with the pages of a JW Bible, sweet justice.

Scripture:
1 Nephi 2:16

Another week in Pembroke...

Hey Mom,

The pants fit great, and we won't know any transfer news until Saturday or Sunday.  Things are still fine with Elder Tyler.  Robert and Jasmine were out of town this week so we will be seeing them next weekend.  Finding was tougher this week, but we were able to find a few more kids at the college, Dennis and Demarco, also a single mother named Shannon.   I think the thing I have learned the most while living in Pembroke is patience.

Mac package a life saver...

Hey Mom,

So the package from Mr. Mac came and it was a life saver, oh and can you send me the picture with Mama Ang?  We were finally able to get a few people at church this week, two investigators and two la's.  The investigator's that came we found this week, and they are super solid, their names are Robert and Jasmine.

Love ya!

The Trio...

Hey,

Ugh...so there have been some pretty crazy things going on in the mission right now.  Issues with disobedience and such, so there were a lot of ET's this transfer.  Someone was brought to be with Elder Clarke in Laurinburg, and the there was another ET in Rockingham which is another nearby area.  So, now the Laurinburg Elders are in a trio and Elder Tyler and i are back in Pembroke by ourselves again so things have been interesting.  Wow, there has been so much mission drama that I've had to be around and deal with.  It's times like these that help you see the joy in life better.

Elder Clarke is good, he was in a rough companionship and was pretty shaken when his new comp left, but, i think he is doing a little better now.  He is from South Jordan.

So we were able to get up with our investigator David and he wan't wanting to be baptized in our church so we talked with him about some of his concerns and everything.  He knows it's true , he said everything we said made sense and was in strict accordance to the Bible.  Everyone else is still on a slow and stead slope.

Scripture for the week:  Romans 2:13

Pants are dying...

Hey,

Things are going alright here, just trying to keep on top of everything.  We are still plugging along and trying to get our investigators to progress and get more member involvement.

My clothes are holding up OK except the pants.  I have a suit pair and a regular pair, but they are at the end of their life.
